This medicine is used in septicaemia (blood poisoning by bacteria), endocarditis (infection in the heart), lung infection, urinary tract infection, skin infection and soft tissue infections.
Side Effects
This medicine can cause pain at injection site, allergy, stomach upset, convulsions (involuntary movement of the body), disorders which decrease white blood cell types (neutropenia, leucopenia), increased liver enzymes and blood urea, positive coomb's test (test which detect antibodies against red blood cells). Please consult your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms.
