Product Description
Dowfen Gel contains Ketoprofen 2.5%, a topical non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for localized relief of pain, inflammation, and stiffness. It works by reducing the production of prostaglandins at the site of application, helping to relieve pain and swelling directly where needed.
Its non-greasy, fast-absorbing formula makes it convenient for targeted application on affected areas.
Uses
- Relief from musculoskeletal pain (sprains, strains, backache)
- Management of arthritis and rheumatic pain
- Treatment of sports injuries
- Relief from tendonitis and soft tissue inflammation
- Reduces localized swelling and stiffness
Dosage & Application
- Apply 5–10 cm of gel to the affected area 2–4 times daily
- Gently massage until fully absorbed
- Wash hands after application (unless hands are the treated area)
Possible Side Effects
Usually mild and localized:
- Skin redness or irritation
- Itching or burning sensation

When Not to Use
- On broken, infected, or damaged skin
