Betnovate-N Cream is a prescription topical medication containing Betamethasone Valerate (a corticosteroid) and Neomycin Sulphate (an antibiotic). It is used to treat inflammatory skin conditions that are accompanied by, or at risk of developing, secondary bacterial infections.

Betnovate-N works by reducing redness, swelling, itching, and inflammation while simultaneously controlling bacterial infection, helping restore healthy skin.

Uses

• Treats infected eczema (itchy, inflamed, cracked skin)
• Helps manage psoriasis with secondary bacterial infection
• Relieves dermatitis associated with redness, swelling, and itching
• Treats infected insect bites
• Reduces skin inflammation complicated by bacterial infection

Dosage

• Apply a thin layer to the affected area once or twice daily
• Use for up to 7 days or as directed by a healthcare professional
• For external use only
• Wash hands before and after application

Possible Side Effects

Generally well tolerated when used as prescribed. Some individuals may experience:

• Mild burning or irritation at the application site
• Dryness or redness
