Product Description
Briax 20mg Tablets contain Piroxicam Beta-Cyclodextrin, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain, inflammation, and joint stiffness. This formulation enhances the absorption of piroxicam, allowing for faster onset of action and improved tolerability.
It works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, reducing the production of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation.
Uses
- Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Ankylosing Spondylitis

- Post-operative pain
- Acute gout attacks
- Menstrual pain (primary dysmenorrhea)
Dosage & Administration
- Take as prescribed by a healthcare professional
- Usually taken once daily, preferably with or after food
- Swallow with water; do not exceed recommended dose
Possible Side Effects
Some individuals may experience:
- Stomach upset or indigestion
- Diarrhea
- Dizziness
- Ringing in the ears (tinnitus)
- Skin rash

When Not to Use
