LIPIGET TABLET 40 MG 10S
As an adjunct to diet, this medication is used to lower elevated Total-C, LDL-C, Apolipoprotein B, and triglyceride levels, while increasing HDL-C in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia (both heterozygous familial and nonfamilial) and mixed dyslipidemia (Hyperlipoproteinaemias/Fredrickson Types IIa and IIb).
It is also used alongside diet to treat patients with elevated serum triglyceride levels (Hypertriglyceridemia/Fredrickson Type IV) and in those with primary dysbetalipoproteinemia (Fredrickson Type III) who do not respond adequately to dietary changes.
Additionally, it helps lower Total-C and LDL-C in patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia as an adjunct to diet and other lipid-lowering treatments (e.g., LDL apheresis), or when these treatments are not available or effective.
