Product Description
Pentasa 500mg Tablets contain mesalazine (mesalamine), an anti-inflammatory medicine used to treat inflammatory bowel diseases. It works directly in the intestine to reduce inflammation and relieve symptoms such as pain and diarrhea.
Uses
• Ulcerative colitis (treatment and maintenance)
• Crohn’s disease (in some cases)
• Relief of symptoms like: Diarrhea, Rectal bleeding, Abdominal pain
How It Works
Mesalazine acts locally in the bowel to reduce inflammation and tissue damage, leading to:
• Decreased intestinal inflammation
• Relief from pain and bleeding
• Improved bowel function
Dosage & Administration
• Take as prescribed by your doctor
• Tablets should be swallowed whole (do not crush or chew)
