Description:
Sulzone is an injectable antibiotic, a combination of a beta-lactam 3rd generation cephalosporin, Cefoperazone Sodium and beta-lactamase inhibitor Sulbactam sodium; available in 1:1 ratio. Sulzone (Cefoperazone / Sulbactam) is first line empiric therapy for the treatment of polymicrobial infections and Nosocomial infections.
Indications:
Nosocomial pneumonia, COPD, urinary tract infections, surgical site infections, Intra abdominal infections like cholycystitis , peritonitis, SSTIs Diabetic Foot Infections, Hip Surgery, Wound Infections, Burn wound complications, Bacterial Sepsis, Febrile Neutropenia, Gynecological Infections and Pediatric Nosocomial Infections
